Long distance top-up to travel grants
A grant of 150–300€ applies to long distance travel to/from Tromso, outside Norway, if real travel costs exceed 330€, e.g. if traveling to/from outer region.
Student should provide travel receipts on total cost to the home coordinator who decides on top-up.
KUNO Green travel top-up
As of November 2019, KUNO is able to give a top-up grant of 50€ to those students, who choose environmentally friendly means of travel, e.g. by train, by bus or by boat (yet the trip by boat cannot take more than half of the overall journey).
Please note the top-up is only given in case the student chooses environmentally friendly means of travel both ways (for both outward and return journey).
The home coordinator is responsible for checking the eligibility for a top-up grant.
